Vincent Penza, O.D.

"Growing up, the thought of helping people was very appealing and probably sparked my interest in pursuing a healthcare career.Yet the real motivator for me becoming an eye doctor came from a desire to help people preserve their wonderful gift of sight. In fact, during the past two decades that I've been an eye doctor, that part of me has grown. Dr. Morioka and I have built a successful practice that's characterized by our attention to detail, our focus on the one-of-a-kind need of each individual we see and our unwavering commitment to the highest standards of care. During our two decades as partners in delivering exceptional eyecare, we've also expanded the scope of care. We can handle more, treat more and help more. I strive to earn my patients' loyalty by being among the best at serving their needs. It's a constant commitment. It's also why I chose this profession: to make a difference." Katherine Morioka, O.D.

"I chose optometry because it was the perfect blend between helping people ,being in a health profession and creativity. It is fun for me to talk to all my patients and get to know them as a whole rather than just understand their eyes. I also love giving everyone their own style when they get glasses and making them see as well as they can with contacts or glasses. My two goals whenever I see a patient are to give them the highest-quality eye exam and to make sure I make a connection withthem by learning all about them. I need to know the 'total package' before deciding what to prescribe. I'm fortunate to have patients who return year after year. I treat each patient as if they are family, and I want them to have the best care. I'd say I chose optometry as a career, but I think it more true to say that it chose me."
